Instability issues on 13th and 14th gen processors

I am in the midst of purchasing a gaming laptop for studies as well as gaming. However, the recent surfacing of instability issues on 13th and 14th generation processors has sparked some concern in me.

I realise that it has already been posted that processors that are affected are only the desktop versions and those that utilise more than 65W of power, although I would just like to confirm with 100% certainty that the i7-13650HX processor is not affected by the vulnerability.

Thanks

As per intel, the most affected skus are K processors. But there are reports that even non k processors are affected. Still, make sure that you have updated bios because it should fix this type of issue

hi,

i will not recommend you anything or stuff but I'll tell you my experience. I bought my legion pro 5i in June of this year, and i have experienced crashing in my development software (Intellij Idea Ultimate). it is completely unusable at the moment. I do believe that it is related to the stability issues with 13th and 14th gen CPUs but i cannot confirm anything yet. now I dont know actually know about the i7-13650HX but my i9-14900HX crashes as soon as i start intellij. Intel does say that mobile CPUs are not affected. but i have tried contacting Intellij support team and lenovo about this and they couldn't figure out whats going on. so just informing you and trying to help.

hope this helps

Thanks
