Hello, please give me the link if there is a manual related to this issue,
I need to know what is the normal temperature for this processor in a laptop, at what temperature is it dangerous and at what temperature is it considered a technical defect and fault?
What temperature should it be in normal mode and what is its ideal temperature?
At what temperature does throttling occur and what is the temperature when these temperatures are reached.
Of course, I know that its TJmax is 100 degrees Celsius, which is a critical temperature and the system shuts down when it encounters it.
Surely, Intel has comprehensive instructions and manuals in this regard that it provides to companies, repairers, etc.
Thank you.

Hi @Omiiid,
Thank you for posting here in our community. To effectively diagnose and address the issue you're experiencing, I kindly ask you to provide detailed responses to the following questions. This information will help us isolate the problem and determine the most appropriate course of action.
- Please provide the SSU log report and share it here so I can review your system's configuration.
- What temperature range does your processor typically operate in under normal conditions?
- You mentioned the TJmax is 100 degrees Celsius, which is the critical temperature where the system shuts down. Are there any specific scenarios where your processor approaches this temperature?
I understand you're seeking detailed manuals and guides, and I recommend checking the Intel Ark website for publicly available information on our processors. This resource provides specifications and details that might be helpful.
However, since you're looking for specific manuals and guides, it would be best to contact your laptop manufacturer directly. Performance can vary based on the design and technology implemented by the OEM, and they can provide guidance tailored to your specific device.
While Intel provides comprehensive instructions and manuals to companies and repairers, these are typically distributed through official channels. For detailed guidance, reaching out to your laptop manufacturer or authorized service providers would be the most effective approach.

Hi,
Thank you for your answer, my laptop has now been sent to the warranty company for inspection and I do not have access to it to get SSLOG, my problem is that I bought a new Lenovo Legion5 16irx9-i7 laptop, not a second-hand one, this laptop goes from a temperature of 47 degrees to 97 degrees in less than a minute as soon as I run the game, which means I have not yet entered the game environment and I am in the game menu and it starts throttling and the company considers this normal and says that as long as the device does not turn off, there is no problem. I am sure that this is a technical problem and that continuous exposure to this temperature will reduce the life of the laptop and its components, and this is unacceptable for a new laptop, but due to the lack of a datasheet or guide that clearly states this issue, I cannot prove to this seller that this device is defective. This laptop has repeatedly reached a temperature of 95-99 degrees and this information has been recorded by the HWINFO and Core temp software.

Hey,
I am also facing this problem. I just bought a Rog Strix G615JHR on 5th August 2025 with an i7 14650hx and an rtx 5050, it idles at about 55 to 60 degree Celsius and whenever i open valorant or even any other games like gta v or mw3 or battlefield 6 the temp goes up to 95 sometimes even 97 but this happens only when i put the laptop in turbo mode but the gpu temp always stay around 60 to 75 degrees even with ultra settings in the above mentioned games. Asus said this temperature is fine they did not find any heating issue with the laptop and closed the service request. Asus said this laptop has a liquid metal thermal compound and the fans run at 5800rpm max. Is this an issue with the processor?

Hi @Omiiid,
Thank you for your updates.
Based on the information provided, It appears we do not have access to the unit in question to conduct further investigation. Since it is coordinated with the manufacturer as outlined in the article My Laptop Seems to Be Overheating, I’m unable to comment on your readings. I rely solely on the Intel® Processor Diagnostic Tool to determine if a processor is faulty.
Beyond this, the manufacturer is best positioned to assess your system and provide detailed explanations regarding the readings you mentioned. I’ve already shared all relevant articles related to this concern, and with that, I will proceed to close this ticket.
Please feel free to submit a new ticket or post a thread in the Intel Community if you encounter any issues with Intel products in the future.
For @Shuichi :
Kindly submit a separate ticket so I can further investigate and analyze the issue on your system. Thank you!
Regards,
