Intel XTU shows negative core frequency for 10600k

Hello.

I installed latest version of XTU an it doesnt show the core frequency of my CPU. The value is always -4.10 Ghz. I tried to uninstall this software and clean install it with BIOS default settings but resulsts are the same. CPU-Z and MSI Dragon Center display the frequency properly. Is there a solution? Should i be worried? I had 6700k before that and XTU worked properly with it.

Hello Spinzaku36,

Thank you for posting on the Intel* Community.

To better assist you, please provide us with the below information:

  • Do you have any other overclocking/performance tools installed?

Provide me with the below test results:

Intel® System Support Utility (Intel® SSU)

Intel® Processor Diagnostic Tool (IPDT)

  • Intel® Processor Diagnostic Tool download.
  • The diagnostic tool checks for brand identification, verifies the processor operating frequency, tests specific processor features and performs a stress test on the processor.
  • To save the report, once the test is done, click on "File >> View Results File" and attach the .txt file to your reply.
