Hi everybody,
I just got a single board computer which contains a Intel Atom E3826 processor. This board is the conga IA3. I want to run Linux in this single board computer, specially Ubuntu so I would like to know if this is possible or if it is necessary to install any BSP.

Please bear in mind that any Intel(R) processor is operating system independent, this means you should be able to install any operating system. What matters is the actual support for your computer features, in other words, the drivers available for Ubuntu.

Hi,
The support for my computer features, you mean the board support packet?. I see in the webpage of my board (Conga IA3) that there is a API for linux, but I don´t know if I have to install this API always or if it is just necessary depending the linux distribution.
I am a bit confused because if I install Ubuntu in any normal laptop or computer for example , I don´t have to install any specific driver for Ubuntu. So why in a single computer board is necessary to do that?
