Intel i5-12450H Processor Running Extremely Hot – Need Help

My Intel i5-12450H laptop with an RTX 3050 and 16GB RAM is showing CPU temperatures between 93°C and 97°C while playing graphically demanding games like Witcher 3, Metro Exodus, and Red Dead Redemption 2. I’m not sure if this is normal or not. Are these temperatures typical for an i5-12450H processor? Or are they abnormal? Please help.

Note: There are no FPS crashes, but during gameplay in Witcher 3, Metro Exodus, and RDR2, my CPU frequency dropped once due to overheating (throttling), causing a temporary performance decrease.

Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Temperatures such as you are seeing are towards the top end of what would be expected for a gaming laptop fitted with an RTX 3050 chipset. Temperatures could be improved by reducing game settings.
