Dear Intel Support,

I would like to seek your help to confirm whether Intel Xeon E5-2699v3 processor is multi-chip module or not? It regards Oracle Standard Edition licensing where a processor is counted equivalent to a socket; however, in the case of multi-chip modules, each chip in the multi-chip module is counted as one occupied socket.

Hello EKH,

In this case none of the Intel® Xeon® Processor E5 v3 Family have the mulit-chip, they come with one chip.

Regards,

Amy.

Hi Amy,

on a similar note, can I confirm about one more processor: Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU X7350 @ 2.93GHz , is this MultiChip ?

Also any list which defines what family of products is MultiChip and what is not ?

Thank you and Regards,

Murad
