Hi!

I could not find a Intel FSP (Firmware Support Package) binaries for Intel Xeon Scalable Skylake-SP
I am want using it for coreboot ocp/tiogapass platform (coreboot+tianocore).
The necessary binaries were not found on the github https://github.com/intel/FSP.
Do they exist at all and what is their document number.

Best Regards,
Kevin2001.

Hi Victor G!

This is my personal interest.
I have a supermicro X11SPL-F motherboard and I wanted to develop an alternative BIOS based on coreboot + UEFI for it.
I found the most suitable motherboard (ocp/tiogapass) in the coreboot project sources.
After assembling the BIOS, the motherboard did not start. Further search showed that there are no FSP binaries at BIOS file.
The sources (https://review.coreboot.org/c/coreboot/+/38549) indicate that the FSP binaries are fake! and "not going to be available in the public domain".
How are things now with the availability of binaries for Skylake-SP and do they exist at all?

Regards,
Kevin2001.

Hello, Kevin2001,

The public information is available at:

The Intel® FSP is available at GitHub - intel/FSP: Intel(R) Firmware Support Package (FSP) (look for Skylake folder)

This is the latest version as compatibility is preserved.

Hi Miguel C!

Oh. This is not exactly what I need.
This is for the Skylake desktop processor, which has at least a different number of memory channels.
The link you provided does not have an FSP associated with Skylake-SP (Purley platform). This is a server platform.
I'll try to visit Developer Zone, but first I would like to understand - is FSP binaries for Skylake-SP (Purley platform) exist in any form for using in Coreboot?
I would not want to spend time looking for non-existent binaries. Can you help with this?

Regards,
Kevin2001.
