Prime95 and Haswell

Hello. I was going to stress test my CPU (which is an I5-4440) because i suspect something in my pc isnt right and want to discard the cpu as a cause. But i just heard that newer versions of prime95 are dangerous to use with haswells cpu. Is that true? My cpu is at stock settings with a stock cooler by the way.

This issue only occurs under certain complex workload conditions, like those that may be encountered when running applications like Prime95. We have not experienced any issues with the 4th Generation Intel® Core™ i5 Processors and Prime95.

Just bear in mind that Intel does not validate third party tools as per diagnosing our products.
