Hello.

First of all, i dont know if i'm in the right place, but thats the closest i can go i think, since i live in greece, and there is no technical support for intel here.

I recently bought a new pc, with the following specs (according to the identification tool i found on intel's webpage)

I'm curious about that sound issue. Usually when you have problems with the audio is because of a short or grounding somewhere.

I recommend you to try the system out of the chassis on a basic configuration and test with a normal wired cheap keyboard and mouse. Disconnect every front panel connector you have or any non essential devices.

If the problem goes away try adding a device at the time.

PV.

Don't ask me why, but I rearranged the order of my RAMs and I haven't got a freeze in 3 days straight.

Looks like a bad seating of a RAM stick was the problem. Good to see you are back in business.

Nope, didn't work for me.. thanks for the suggestion though. i tried all the possible compinations, including to use A2,B2,C2 instead of A1,B1,C1 (in that case, it didn't even boot). Well, i don't know what to do with my pc anymore

Ok, there is an update.. When i turn on my pc after a long shutdown, there is no "beep", you know, the one that sounds when you open the pc. Now, if i turn it on, and push the reset button after a second, i can hear the beep, and my pc won't have a blue screen :S what's your opinion on this one?

Could be a BIOS corruption or glich.

check if your motherboard has a quick boot option and disable it.

Maybe it has a hard drive delay, try adding some time to help the boot.

Hi mate.

i had exactly the same problems with my pc.I have same motherboard and cpu.I changed the voltage for the cpu from "auto mode" to manual 1.240v.

After that my pc works fine.Seems that the auto mode on this motherboard does not work so well with all cpu's.

Regards

Kimmo
