Hi,

First, my system is skylake CPU(G4500), ASRock B150, DDR4 8Gb and windows 7 32bit.

I know Windows 7 support maximum 4Gb memory on the system.

But when i upgrade to Skylake system. i just saw 1.8 usable memory. even i set up 256MB graphics memory.

If it's normal condition, usable memory is between 3.3~3.5Gb.

As a result, i just use half of memory on the system. i don't know the reason why it's happened.

Please kindly confirm my issue then answer me.

I wanna know the reason asap and use usual.

Hello bluegmlwls,

Thank you for joining the Intel communities.

I don't think this is a problem with the processor; it looks like you have a defective RAM.

Have you tried different memory or if you have more than one stick try only one at a time and access Windows and see how much usable memory you have.

Regards,

Ivan
