TDP, Mips & Flopps

Hello,

I'm working in a Environmental project where we look into servers, energy consumption and recycability.

I have some questions I haven't been able to sort out yet.

  1. Is there any way to say that cpu wasting xx-yy kw/h by looking on the TDP and Processor load? I guess Intel have developed some formula for this,

I just haven't been able to find it.
  2. I haven't been able to find Million Instructions Per Seconds (Mips) or FLoating point Operations Per Second (Flops) for each processor. The

servers we working with is most of the times used for hard calculations or applications where the server is loaded alot.

Thanks,

Emanuel

I am not aware of a single table that has all of the information you are looking for. There are a few links that you may be interested in reviewing.

Please check out the information on the following link to see if it of any help to you: http://www.intel.com/support/processors/xeon/sb/CS-020863.htm http://www.intel.com/support/processors/xeon/sb/CS-020863.htm

The TDP information can be found in the datasheets. http://www.intel.com/support/processors/xeon/sb/CS-029912.htm http://www.intel.com/support/processors/xeon/sb/CS-029912.htm
