The network performance of servers with continuous CPUs on numa nodes is better than that of servers

Through testing, it was found that the network performance of servers with continuous CPUs on numa nodes is better than that of servers with discrete CPUs on numa nodes.

The CPUs on most servers' numa nodes are continuous, such as:

  NUMA node0 CPU (s): 0-3,8-11

  NUMA node1 CPU (s): 4-7,12-15

Some servers also have discrete CPUs on their numa nodes, such as: "

  NUMA node0 CPU (s): 0,2,4,6,8,10,12,14

  NUMA node1 CPU (s): 1,3,5,7,9,11,13,15

May I ask if these two types of CPU allocation have an impact on performance?
