Why am I suddenly getting error scanning the system with the Device Support Assistant (DSA)?

I have an NVIDIA graphics card that has NVIDIA drivers installed, but that's always been the case, and the support assistant has been able to scan the system and load the updates. Now I'm getting the error "Sorry, something went wrong while trying to scan." Anyone know of this? Thanks.

Thanks. I hoped it would be that simple. Unfortunately, it didn't work.

Well, it turns out that the Chrome browser is the problem. It worked with Firefox.

Add-ons in Firefox and Chrome create this problem. With deactivated Add-ons it works properly.
