Why is the processor I5-14400 not included in the warranty for an additional two years?
Although it is among the generations vulnerable to damage in the short term

Hello Jed Allen G.

Greetings scented with flowers

First, I thank you for your efforts with me for three months.
Second, I thank the support team at Intel for their efforts during this difficult time facing Intel.

Regarding the extension of the warranty for 4 processors, the remaining 14th generation,
the extension of the warranty was not approved for them upon the recommendation of the engineering team at the company, which is the same cause of the problem, the unstable processors that reach the stage of damage.

In the 13th and 14th generations, which until the time of writing this email, the processors still have problems and the engineering team has not been able to solve the problem from its roots.

After the issuance of microcode 0X125 on 7/22/2024,

Microcode 0X129 was issued on 8/11/2024,

Finally, the issuance of microcode 0x12B on 10/9/2024.

I believe that this confusion was caused by the engineering team at the company.

I am not upset with their decision
My relationship with Intel is 35 years old and I have not used another processor.

My annoyance is that Intel has reached this situation because of the company's engineering team.

I hope that this black cloud will pass from the company as soon as possible.

My greetings to you and thanks to the entire Intel support team.

Best regards,
