May I ask: is there a plan for Intel to replace X11 or X server to Wayland?
Or will be supporting to X11 be a long term plan for Intel?
I ask this question because we need this information to evaluation our future choice of the platform for our product. And we noticed that some processor providers are considering stopping X11 support.
I appreciate a lot if anyone can give any reply or comments on this question.
Best Regards
Charlie

Hello Charlie_Dong,
Thank you for posting on the Intel* Community.
The Intel* processor supports the software, the issue may be that the Original Equipment Manufacturer of your system has not validated or created drivers for it, affecting the performance of the processor and the whole system.
The best will be to contact the Linux distro support and verify if they are planning to continue, validating, designing, or stop the support for Linux SBP or for X11.
Please, submit your question on the Linux community support.
I will proceed to close this thread, If you need further assistance or if you have additional questions, please create a new thread and we will gladly assist you.
Best regards,
