Hi, my real question is, can I get a Bios Update for this motherboard DH55TC so that I can install a copy of windows 11 on this machine? at the moment it does not support windows 11, or if there's any other advise.

A bios update will not help you with W11.  The processor, any  processor, for that board will not support W11.

Also, this is a 14-year-old thread.

Remember, 8th gen or later processor required for W11.  I would look at using a 12th, 13th, or 14th gen processor., as 8th gen is already 6 years old.

Hi  AlHill, thanks again for your advise, can you recommend to me a motherboard that will support windows 11, I have a New Intel Core i5-650 3.5GHZ, Socket LGA1155 processor, and 4 DDR3 memory stick which I don't really want to do away with, therefore I would be very great full if you could recommend a motherboard that support these components and windows 11.

Thanks in advance.

You will not find any motherboard with a lga1155 socket that supports W11.  Remember, it is the processor gen you need to be concerned with - 8th gen or later.

Just about any motherboard that supports an 8th gen or later processor will support w11.  I have not kept up with motherboards since Intel stopped manufacturing them.  From what I read, the ASUS boards are what a lot of users have.

Also, I believe you have your processor model number incorrect.
