hi, i have a intel core i5 600k (skylake) and my frequency randomly drop to 800GHz. I should be getting 3500 GHz on my frequency. Is this normal?

The processor will drop the frequency to save power if Enhanced Intel SpeedStep is enabled at BIOS level.

Please check the BIOS and see if you have this enabled or disabled.

Then, run the following utility to test the processor.

Were you able to run the Intel® processor diagnostic tool?
