i5-13600kf WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR (0x124)

I am experiencing frequent, random freezing, both during intensive applications (gaming), or just when browsing the internet.

An analysis of the Windows crash .dmp file indicates that it is due to FAILURE_BUCKET_ID: LKD_0x124_7_GenuineIntel__UNKNOWN_IMAGE_GenuineIntel.sys  (see below).

Things I've already tried:

  • Complete clean reinstall Windows 11
  • Uninstall graphics drivers using AMD Cleanup Utiltiy in safe mode and reinstall latest drivers
  • Installed latest Windows updates (ver 23H2)
  • Updated latest motherboard BIOS
  • Tested RAM with MemTest and TestMem 5 (Anta777 Absolut) (no errors)
  • Ran Intel Processor Diagnostic Tool (passed, attached)
  • Ran cmd prompt Dism, CHKDSK, and SFC commands to verify integrity of Windows system files
  • Changed RAM
  • Changed PSU
  • Reseated RAM
  • Reseated CPU/cooler
  • Reseated GPU

Any help much appreciated!

Hello Sulee,

For me to properly address this concern, please share the following details:

1.Was this working fine before?

2.Did you make any recent changes to the system?

3.Did you overclock the processor?

Additionally, to have a better understanding of your system configuration and components please generate System Support Utility (SSU) report. Please follow instructions here and send the report - How to get the Intel® System Support Utility Logs on Windows*

We hope to hear from you soon!

Best regards,

Hello JedG,

The processor was working fine before, but started having problems in April of this year

I initially tried reinstalling Windows and drivers, but it didn't solve the problem.I haven't made any changes to the system in recent months

No overclocking of the processor

Attached are the test reports of SSU and Intel Process Diagnostic Tool.
