is this normal ? something is making my tower temp rise and i think its because of my dust filter that came with my TECWARE VXR its location on the top. i had my TECWARE VXR setup with the blue fans sucking COOL air IN and the red fans sucking HOT air OUT. there are also dust filters in the bottom and the side panel. a total of 9 fans have dust filter or mesh

i think i may have to remove the filter and just let the dust in ?

the mesh looks like this

but my CPU temperature is reaching 77c while playing fortnite. is this normal ?

First of all, let's be clear: 77c is NOT hot. The processor will run at this speed for its entire warranted lifetime without issue or performance degradation (and, in fact, will do so at 20c higher levels as well). Secondly, it is NOT the filters; I will always recommend having filters in front of all inlet fans - but do clean them often; at least monthly.

When you have a system with a lot of fans connected, you need to be careful to ensure that the inlet fans are not trying to push more air into the chassis than the outlet fans are exhausting out. An air pressure buildup inside the case can cause cooling efficiency to drop. Saying it another way (and presuming that the fans are all identical), you want to ensure that as many fans are inletting air as are outletting (exhausting) air and that they are all being run at the same speed (and thus CFM of air movement).

Hope this helps,

Thank you so much for the tip. i will definitely look into adding the filters back on.

i do have 6 input fans from the bottom and the side and 3 output fans on the top there is an open grill at the back ( for 2x 80mm fans ) with no fans attached that i hoped would relieve any pressure buildup in the chassis. all the fans are identical they are the cheap Darkflash Pro D12 fans which i think gives around 40-55cfm.

should i be adding 2x 80mm fans in the back as exhaust fans ?

My first comment is that, when the system is busy enough that the fans need to be sped up, 80mm fans are going to be a *lot* louder. Still, with this many fans, they won't have to be sped up much.
Next, question: what is the cooling solution on the processor and what is the temperature while the system is sitting idle?

something called HY510 thermal paste. stock cooler for now.

on idle the CPU temp is around 40 average and 48 max

Ok, I don't have much to add. You should be ok for now. If the temperatures start to rise further, you can investigate replacing this stock cooler with a better one.
