i7 8700 constant high frequency

Hi!

I have an Intel Core i7 8700 processor and MSI Z370 motherboard KRAIT GAMING.

The processor does not change its frequency dynamically. Constantly works at a frequency of 4.3. In this case, I do not run any programs. What could be the problem?

BIOS and power management parameters can cause this behavior. Please try these troubleshooting steps:

 

 

1. Try loading default BIOS values to make sure that voltages parameters are correct and that overclocking is disabled.

 

 

2. Check the power options in Windows* (Attachment). For example, you can change the Power Plan and the Minimum processor state.
