i9 13900K Defective out of the box - Warranty nightmare in Venezuela

Hello Intel Support Community,

I am writing to express my extreme disappointment and frustration with a recent experience involving a defective i9 13900K processor and the subsequent warranty process.

I purchased the processor on 2023 from Newegg with much excitement to upgrade my system. Unfortunately, this excitement was short-lived. From the very first boot, I was met with blue screens indicating a problem with the CPU.

I immediately contacted Intel Support and initiated a warranty claim. While the support team was responsive, the process has been stalled due to complications with UPS in my country, Venezuela. Despite providing my contact information and waiting for a scheduled pickup, UPS has not collected the defective processor.

This situation is unacceptable. As a professional who relies heavily on my computer, having to deal with a defective processor and a frustrating warranty process is incredibly disruptive.

I urge Intel to:

  1. Investigate and resolve the UPS pickup issue in Venezuela as soon as possible.
  2. Provide a timely resolution to my warranty claim, ensuring a replacement processor is delivered promptly.

I have always held Intel processors in high regard, but this experience has severely damaged my trust in the brand. I hope that Intel will take the necessary steps to rectify this situation and regain my confidence.

Thank you for your time and attention to this matter.

Sincerely,

Daniel Mendoza
