I purchased my intel core i9 14900kf through amazon, the return window has closed and my CPU seems to have fried. I know there has been ongoing issues with this product and the warranty was extended last year. I am wondering if I can still file a warranty claim for this product.

Hi michaela1,
Thank you for reaching out to the Intel Community Forum. To assist us in investigating the issue, please provide the following details:
- What is the exact issue?
- Is the system working properly before?
- Is this system newly assembled?
- Was it custom-built or purchased prebuilt?
- Any recent changes made on the system before you encountered the issue?
- Do you see any signs of physical damage?
- Any troubleshooting steps performed to attempt to resolve the issue?
- May we know the brand, exact model and BIOS Version of your motherboard? This way we can further check the current configuration of your system.
- Was the processor overclocked? Please note that altering the stock clock frequencies and memory speed of the CPU may void the warranty.
If you have any questions, please let us know. Thank you.
Best regards,
