Hello ,

I've got a problem with the Altera SOPC-Builder. Below error occurs in the SOPC, when I try to generate the code (from Nios II tutorial):

Installation and/or user issue of some sort. Be sure that you're using Quartus/SOPC Builder as the same user that installed it. The "install.ptf" file is in ~/.sopc_builder/install.ptf (where ~ represents the user profile directory in Windows and the user's home directory in Linux/UNIX). If running on Linux/UNIX, you need to make sure that whatever user you're logged in as, actually has a home directory.

Thanks a lot!

The problem was name of user account. I've got Polish Edition of Windows XP, and there was Polish national character in name of user. I had no problem with it for years. But for SOPC it was http://forum.niosforum.com/work2/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif

Thanks you, once again.
