H264 software decoder

Hi, 

I'm trying to find an H.264 software decoder to run on the ARM inside a Cyclone V, and am struggling to get one running fast enough at 1280x720p or 1920x1080i. Does anyone know of a suitable software decoder that has been optimised for the ARM/Neon?

Have you ever tried using x264 project. I've just found it by googling. :-)
