HPS Flash size truncated - SoCKit Board (Terasic)

Hi,

I have Terasic - SoCKIT board and during boot up, linux (custom built - using Buildroot) gives me the following messages pertaining to Flash of HPS:

2 ofpart partitions found on MTD device spi2.0

Creating 2 MTD partitions on "spi2.0":

0x000000000000-0x000000800000 : "Flash 0 Raw Data"

0x000000800000-0x000008000000 : "Flash 0 jffs2 Filesystem"

mtd: partition "Flash 0 jffs2 Filesystem" extends beyond the end of device "spi2.0" -- size truncated to 0x3800000

The actual size of the flash is 128MB and it creates the two partitions which equals to this size. But then it gives me this warning where the second partition extends beyond the end of the device "spi2.0" and size is truncated.

I don't understand, is spi2.0 running out of address space to access the entire size of the HPS flash? If yes, what should I do to access the entire size of the HPS?

Someone please help me out with this.

Thank you,

Karthik
