The easiest way to find out is to install eCos and build the configurations that you're interested in. That way you can play around and look at, for example, the impact of adding/removing features from the network stack.

Hi,

I'm currently working on porting eCOS over Versa Logic Board based on Intel Celeron Processor for my Project. I have done the necessary changes in the HAL and memory layout but I'm facing some issues in this. I have my final presentation on 21st June 2005. If you could send me the eCOS image which was ported to Intel x86(PC Motherboard), it would be exteremely useful for my Project.

Thanks & Regards

This is a Forum for the port of eCos to the Nios Processor.

So I'm afraid we have no port to an x86 motherboard.

You might try one of the eCos mailing lists which can be found at http://sources.redhat.com/ecos/ (http://sources.redhat.com/ecos/)
