Hello,
I'm currently using the the Cypress SL811HST-AC embedded USB controller in my design which (at least for Nios I) was supported by uClinux and seemed to work pretty well. However, I've learned from our purchasing folks that Cypress has announced that this device will soon become obsolete. Can anyone recommend a USB host controller chip that can easily interface to the Nios II and is supported by uClinux? Our requirements are for host that can support a single full-speed peripheral port (12 Mbits/sec). We intend to use it primarily with USB memory stick devices. Thanks. Terry Graessleコピーされたリンク

You may use usb pci host chip with the altera pci bridge. There is no drivers issue.
