SOPC 5.1 generation time/speed

I've finally switched over from Quartus 4.2/Nios II 1.1 to Quartus 5.1/Nios II 5.1

In converting my existing design, I have the impression that SOPC generation goes a lot slower. I took an hour for the generation under 5.1 vs about half that under Nios II 1.1 (exact same laptop computer with 1 GB RAM)

Has anybody else noticed the same thing? Any explanation why I might be seeing this?

Thanks! http://forum.niosforum.com/work2/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/huh.gif

Follow up: yes, I re-generated under SOPC builder 4.2 and it dropped down to 15 minutes.

Is this right? Do I have something set up wrong or did SOPC slow way down?
