Uninitialised timer!

Hello,

I want to read a file over nfs. I can mount the remote directory, list the content. But when I try to load a 5 Mbyte file it needs at least 31s. Sometimes I get the following warning:

I tried to load the same file with another PC and it needed less the 3s.

Ethereal shows, that the board often sends a retransmit request. Is this a normal transfer rate? Has anybody achieved better rates? And how?
