building NiosII system library

Hi,

I run Quartus / NiosII IDE 6.0sp1.

When I build a system library in the NiosII IDE, all the files and directories in the associated Quartus project get their attributes set to READ_ONLY.

This is a pain in the butt, as I then have to manually change the attributes before I can do much with the project.

This problem has existed in my setup for some time, with eairlier versions of Altera tools - it's just that only recently I've figured out just when the problem occurs.

Has anyone else found this behaviour?

Is there a setting somewhere that I need to change?

Thanks in advance for any help with this.

I guess the last post wasn't quite clear...

the file locking behaviour only occurs when I build a NEW niosII system library using the wizard, not every time I compile/build the system library project.
