frame reader and uClinux

Hi All, 

Is it possible to modify the frame buffer layer in linux to use a frame reader hardware instead of a lcd_sgdma (used in the NEEK case) ? 

If the answer is yes, any pointers would be helpful.

a Frame Reader is an IP in the VIP library, it was introduced in quartus 9.0
