importing SW projects

With the 5.0 IDE, is there a way to import or export a SW project but give it a different name?

I often need to import a new version of a project but still preserve the same-named version I already have.

In the past, I would just create a blank project and plop in the files, but now there are too many files, folders, and special settings in these projects, and it takes way too much time. I need a way that will preserve all the file paths and settings such as the import feature.

It does look like I can rename the top level project folders and edit the project name in the .cdt* and .stf files just before importing. This is a pain but is quicker than my old method.

Does eclipse have a better way to do what I want?
