Hi,
Could someone point me in the right direction for modifying kernel paramerter to redirect console=ttyS? I dont see where to do this in configure.bat. Do I have to change to a different boot loader than what comes with the Windows Nios Eclipse IDE? I recompiled the kernel with support for console on Nios UART and changed inittab ttyS2:vt100:/bin/agetty 115200 ttyS2 ttyJ0:vt100:/bin/agetty 115200 ttyJ0 But when connecting to the ttyS2 port through hyperterminal with proper settings of 115200, 8, n, 1; agetty loops uncontrollably asking for User ID and PW Logging in from ttyJ0 works fine, but would anyone know why agetty trips out on the nios serial port, even when I'm not sending any characters; Captured text below. /etc/issue www.microtronix.com June 2005issue www.microtronix.com Nios2CRAM log Welcome to NiosII/uClinux on CRAMonix.com Nios2CR Nios2CRAM /etc/issue www.microtronix.com June 2005Nios2CRAM login: /etc/issue www.microt Nios2CRAM logi Welcome to NiosII/uClinux on CRAMnix.com June 2005crotronix.comLink Copied
