this week,i found a problem that when i fitter my nios2 design in quartus4.2,the report always show: total memory bits :8192 ,i change the on_chip ram size,such as 8k,16k,32k ,the report is also 8192,i install the quartus5.0 and nios5.0,the the problem is exsit too, why,how can i slove the problem?please help me,thank you!

--- Quote End --- Which device are you using? What data width are you using? Which memory type is being used? (M512, M4K, MRAM) Also when you say 8k, 16k, and 32k are you refering to bits or bytes?

I think I've heard of this before but I can't remember if there was a logical answer for this or not. I do recall that the main summary window will always show the correct number of bits (correct number of used bits that is).
