Ooops ?!?!?
You don't need to port uClinux ontop the NIOS processor, you can just use it. see http://www.nioswiki.com/operatingsystems/uclinux (http://www.nioswiki.com/operatingsystems/uclinux) . This page also suggests, that the upcoming version of uClinux for NIOS2 will support the MMU and thus "full" Linux,. -Michael- Mark as New

First of all, read the NiosWiki introduction.
You can't use the NIOS IDE, but you need to set up Linux on your PC to develop fort uClinux. To start testing, if you don't have hardware yet, get yourself a "NEEK" ( see http://www.nioswiki.com/nios2embeddedevaluationkit (http://www.nioswiki.com/nios2embeddedevaluationkit) ) and try out how UCLinux looks like with same ( http://www.nioswiki.com/operatingsystems/u...x/tryoutuclinux (http://www.nioswiki.com/operatingsystems/uclinux/tryoutuclinux) ) -Michael- Mark as New
