Hello,

I would know if somebody faced the problem of installation of NIOS2-IDE under Linux,

You think that it is the version of Linux that I use who provokes this problème.I work with ubuntu version 8.10

I have been able to install Quartus in Suse 10.1 Linux to be able to use the NIOS2 IDE. You can use the NIOS2-IDE without installing a license for Quartus itself.

That is what I tried to say. AFAIK, the NIOS2-IDE is part of the Quartus distribution and installs with same. So if you do have Quartus, you should already have NIOS2-.IDE.

Anyay: this forum's issue is embedded Linux running on NIOS, not using Linux on a PC, so you better ask over in a Quartus centric forum.
