I just install the Nios II 1.01 and run the shell. Now I got a message as (You may add a startup script: c:/altera/kits/nios2/user.bashrc) I cannot find the file, user.bashrc. What will happen if no that file when I run Nios2? FrigileLink Copied

No influence on anything.
If the file is provided by the user, the startup script runs it. It is a bit like a DOS batch file. It can be usefull to go to your project directory on cygwin start. I used it with NiosI, but after installing the NiosII, my user.bashrc doesn't work anymore http://forum.niosforum.com/work2/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif Stefaan- Mark as New
