Hi, My newly bought desktop (Lenovo ThinkCenter M910 Small Factor) with i7 7000 running on Ubuntu constantly reports temperatures (using Psensor applet) for Cores 0-3 between 80-96 degree C (at CPU usage of 65-75%). I understand that the TJunction for this processor is 100 degrees C. Does that mean I have no cause to worry?
Kindly let me know.
Thanks & regards
SBS

Hello SBS79,
Please bear in mind that your best contact support is with your computer manufacturer as they are more familiar with your system and how all the components interact with each other.
Intel provides a diode between and below the cores with a reading the BIOS calibrates. This reading can vary greatly between BIOS versions and BIOS vendors; therefore, your best contact support is Lenovo. You should be able to get support here:
