Hello team,
Pls help. Getting a PCI encryption/decryption controller driver error in Device Manager.
As a result of this I am :
1. Unable to update my Windows 10 beyond ver 1511
2. After downloading, during update process laptop gets stuck at "Restarting" and needs a hard reboot
3. Tried using ISO image from Microsoft website to install Win10 but again same issue with laptop unable to restart by itself
I have also tried "restore health", SFC/scannow, chkdisk etc and all came out succesfully
Pls help

Then ATTACH the text file using the instructions under the reply window ( Drag and drop here or browse files to attach ).

In reference to your inquiry, the fact that you are getting the error message in "Device Manager" about PCI encryption/decryption controller driver and if the memory controller hub it is not detecting hardware components it indicates that there could be a problem with the Intel® Processor or the motherboard itself.
As an option, if the laptop boot to Windows*, we can try to run the Intel® Processor Diagnostics Tool, it does an overall test on the unit and if it passes the test it means that it is working properly:

If the computer does not boot to Windows*, then the best thing to do will be to get in contact directly with Acer to verify with them why there are Windows* installation issues and also if there is a hardware problem with the Intel® Procesor or with the motherboard, keep in mind that the Intel® Processor being used on this system is Mobile, so all the warranty support for this platform will be provided by Acer:
