hello, just a quick question. i just wanted formal proof. My motherboard has two pcie 5.0 x16 slots and as far as i remember if you put a gpu, and another gpu/raid card/ capture card, whatever? into the second slot. it just drops it to pcie 5.0 X8 Makes sense to me. But That Guy Jays Two Cents, said in his Video, it drops it down to pcie 3.0 ??? WHAT! yeh. Never has a Intel chipset pcie lanes direct to cpu, do that. im 99% im right, but before i go call his nonsense out, i just want to double check, thank you.

Hello JTims1,
Thank you for posting on the Intel® communities. I understand that you would like to get more information about the PCI-e lanes.
In this case, you should consult with the motherboard manufacturer to confirm how the PCI-e lanes work on their system.
They can limit the PCI-e lanes version or capabilities. I recommend you get in contact with the motherboard manufacturer to get further details.
Please keep in mind that this thread will no longer be monitored by Intel.
