Hello all, I'm new here. I'm from from Poland and my english can be quite strange.
I've bought new notebook Acer TM5742ZG with Intel Pentium Dual-Core P6100 2x2.0 GHz, and now I want to change it for Intel Core i5-2410m. Both of them are using the G1 (PGA988) socket. Is that possible? Will be that compatibile? Will it work..?
I ahve hope you'll help me. Thank you and my compliments.

You have socket G1, and Core i5-2410M is not compatible with it. This page lists all processors that may work in socket G1:
