Contact gigabyte for support on their hardware.

Where does it say that GIGABYTE Z490 VISION D supports PCIe 4.0?

https://download.gigabyte.com/FileList/Manual/mb_manual_z490-vision-d_1001_e.pdf?v=76efbd06c738848283144964a5b7e2d4

All the PCIe Buses I see there are 3.0

This motherboard has chipset Z490 and it says only supports 10th Gen CPUs

https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/Z490-VISION-D-rev-1x/sp#sp

Support for PCIe 4.0 was introduced with 11th Gen CPUs and Chipsets... My understanding is that 400 Series Chipsets only support up to PCIe 3.0.

As an aside note, PCIe is backward compatible, PCIe 4.0 devices will work on PCIe 3.0 slots, but, yeah, I agree with AlHill, you need to discuss this with Gigabyte...

@DMOliveira   You can ask Asus questions regarding hardware compatibility with their hardware/motherboard.
