Cpu upgrade

Hi all...i have toshiba A-500-134
And cpu : p8700 ...2.53
Can i upgrade it to qx9300 ?
If not possible then which the fastest cpu that i can use for upgrading.... thank you all in advanced

Is your current processor soldered to the motherboard?  If yes, then answer is NO.

If not, then then answer is that you have to determine if the toshiba bios supports the new processor.

If yes, then you can upgrade.
