HP Pavilion dv7 2065-ef + Intel Mobile Core 2 Quad Q9100

I have a fifteen-year-old, fully working Pavilion dv7 2065-ef. With Intel Mobile Core 2 Duo P7450 processor. The specification contains a list of supported processors. Among them is the Intel Mobile Core 2 Quad Q9100. I want to know if anyone has already done such an upgrade? And I want to ask for advice on what is better to choose - a higher frequency, like the Core 2 Duo P9700 2.8 GHz or the Q9100 4 core 2.26 GHz. Now 2.13 GHz. Thank you!
