I7-4558u pch thermal paste

Working on a Asus ZenBook with a i7-4558u. Can’t get a definite answer if the pch should have thermal paste or left bare. (2 dies on chip)

As you know, the Intel® Core™ i7-4558U Processor is a mobile processor, therefore; the installation on your laptop completely depends on the manufacturer (OEM), in this case; Asus*.  

I would strongly recommend checking with Asus* for more information about the thermal solution, design, and if the use of thermal paste is required to avoid any kind of overheating in your device. Also, to check if the thermal paste or other thermal component comes preinstalled.
