Hi I am currently running a Gigabyte Auros Elite AX motherboard on the latest BIOS. EVGA 3090Ti, Two DDR5 16GB Crucial Pro 5600 rams sticks and 4 M2 (1)500Gb and (3) 1TB Gen 4. CPU Intel i7-14700kf. Setting power levels to 253 with ICC Max of 300 slows it down a lot using various benchmarks with occasional crashes. Using XTU AI it sets my power levels to 375, 375 with 450A which seems excessive but the system runs fast and reliable at these settings.. I do not use XMP yet. I have to assume that these settings are ok but seems extreme especially considering it is your AI tool that makes these changes. XTU AI also sets all Pcores to 57x and all Ecores are set to 44x. I did download the very latest XTU. Please advise.
Bill

It is a AI tool question and I put it under Intel AI tools. It is not a CPU question. Am I missing something here?

Hello Roushguy,
Good day!
Please be advised that AI Assist is highly dependent on system configuration, especially for thermal and power management. Each AI Assist recommendation is useful only for that configuration; therefore, the calculation AI is doing is not something we can provide in terms of voltage and amp setting.
I highly recommend before using the AI Assist feature, please reset BIOS overclocking values to the default values prior to system characterization and see if crashing issue is solved. If you changed any component, try to re-run AI Assist to get new recommended customized values for that new configuration.
Additionally, please be reminded that altering clock frequency or voltage may void any product warranties and reduce stability, security, performance, and life of the processor and other components. Check with system and component manufacturers for details.

As a follow up to me email that I sent my system is running all stock clocking and voltages. After Running the utility is when my power and wattage specs were changed and from what I can tell AI changed my settings that could be dangerous to my CPU and motherboard. Please advise.

Last email sent to Jeanette:
Jeanette I did reset the bios many times. I do not over clock or change voltage except when XTU AI is run. My question is 375 watts and 450 amps too hot or high. I had to replace my first Motherboard because the cpu pins were burnt on the MB itself but the CPU does not seem to have suffered any damage. In the meantime I manually set my power setting to 325 watts and 400 amps max well below what AI set at 375w/450a. I also use a water cooler for the cpu.
