Hello NX_ECX ,
I would like to provide the results from the consults done regarding your questions.
- Intel Thermal Interface Material (TIM) meets the processor design specifications.
- We do not recommend running outside the processor specifications, such as by exceeding processor frequency or voltage specifications or removing of the integrated heat spreader (IHS) (sometimes called "de-lidding"). These actions will void the processor warranty.
- For HEDTs (High-End Desktops) Intel® processors, the IHS (Internal Heat Spreader) and other components meet the processor design specifications. Every customer can be sure about the Intel® products high quality.
I would also like to apologize for the late reply.
If further questions are present, feel free to contact us back.
Thanks,
Esteban C
