Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5540 with 4 cores HT disabled but 8 threads

Hi All,

I have server with sinlge processor Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5540 with 4 cores.

The CPU identification utlity says the hper threading is disabled

But the total thread is showing is 8

How is that possible?
