Hey folks, I would like to move to a bare bones Xeon system and wanted to know if Windows 10 Home will run properly on a machine using the Xeon processor.

OS compatibility (or supported operating systems) is not defined by the Intel® Xeon® processor or a server's chipset, but it is dependent on the operating systems supported by the server motherboard or system. The motherboard or system manufacturer will validate certain operating systems with the motherboard or system and provide drivers for the supported operating systems.

Windows 10 Home should run just fine. I am running Windows 10 Pro without issue on a Xeon E-2286M.

Upon checking the list of supported operating systems for the PowerEdge T40 Tower Server, Windows 10 Home is not listed as a valid operating system.
