Ivy Bridge Intel Core i5 3570K with DDR3 1.65V. Possible problems?

Hi!

I have an Intel i5 3570k, motherboard Asus p8z77-v lk and Kingston ddr3 KHX1600C9D3K2/8GX with voltage 1.65. Is it safe for this this CPU? In one of the old topics https://community.intel.com/t5/Processors/Effects-of-1-65-V-RAM-on-Ivy-bridge/m-p/438164#M19615 it says that it is not safe and there may be negative consequences (for the i5 3770). But in this document on the official website https://www.intel.com/content/dam/www/public/us/en/documents/datasheets/core-i7-memory-suppliers-0412-datasheet.pdf a memory with 1.65V and i5 3770 are compatible. And in this https://www.intel.com/content/dam/www/public/us/en/documents/datasheets/core-i5-processor-memory-datasheet.pdf says that i5 3570k compatible with RAM Voltage 1.60.

So which of these is true? What maximum safe voltage for Ivy Bridge CPUs 1.50V or 1.65V?

If your motherboard (and its bios) support the CPU, then it is safe to support the CPU.

If your motherboard supports the memory, then it is safe to use the memory.

Bottom line - ask asus these questions.

Yes, my motherboard support the CPU, and in the motherboard manual says the following: "According to Intel CPU spec, DIMM voltage below 1.65V is recommended to protect the CPU".

If 1.5v is recommended, then it sounds like you have your answer.

No I don't have the answer. Recommended not higher than 1.5v, but on other links 1.6v and 1.65v are compatible.
